We took a bus from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko. Before heading to the hotel, we had lunch at Tempura Restaurant Ninja near the Kawaguchiko Station.

We stay at Sunnide Resort, which offers a combination of hotel and ryokan, including a traditional comforts like hot spring bahts (onsen)  and full-course kaiseki dinners. The hotel is situated right next to Lake Kawaguchiko so we have a splendid view of Mount Fuji from our bedroom with nothing in between.
