Victoria, Canada

Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, Canada and our last port of call. After many adventurous excursions in Alaska and to prepare for the long trip home tomorrow, we opted to take a stroll in the city and have a nice lunch.

Sitka - Sea Kayaking Adventure

Sitka is famous for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife so we took a Sea Kayaking Adventure here. Beautiful scenery surrounded us as we paddled over the calm and clear water.

Cruising the Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier is a glacier located in eastern Alaska. It is the largest tidewater glacier in North America, measuring 76 miles long and plunging 1200 feet into the depths of the bay.

Its immense beauty and phenomenal blue hues are enchanting, even from afar.

Dear's Birthday

Today is Dear's birthday. We celebrate his birthday at Polo Grill. The Oceania Cruise Team also give him a birthday cake, a birthday card as well as sing a song for him.

Dear said he was very happy on his Birthday today because he had a wonderful time on Dog Sled  Excursion Tour.

Juneau - Dog Sledding

Juneau, the capital city of Alaska, is famous for icefield and glacliers. Therefore we decided to get a very expensive, but worthwhile, Juneau dog sledding tour on Herbert's Glacier.

We were picked up at the cruise ship dock and transported to the heliport. The helicopter flew us over the Juneau Icefield to the dog camp.

At the dog camp, we were welcome by lovely and tame Alaskan huskies and professional mushers, who then rode us on the ice field on a dogsled.

The view is stunning beyond words.

My sunglasses were so dark that I could not see anything. I had to take them off in order to take pictures.

Imagine you camp here for 3-4 months during the summer.
