Bangkok Flood

Thailand experienced severe flooding during the monsoon season in 2011. Major flooding began in the north of Thailand during August and extended through the northeastern and the central part of the country. The flooding reached Bangkok in October. Although the downtown areas was defended from inundation, most people in Bangkok were stressful as a lot of groceries, water, household, and some durable merchandises could not be transported from the factories upcountry causing shortage supplies in the supermarkets.

We collected as much water as we could for fear of water shortage during the flood.

Some groceries were stocked too. It took almost a year to use up  all of them.
