Wang Nam Khieo

We went to Wang Nam Khieo and stayed overnight at Narisa Place, Thai Samaggi.

As there were five men and five women in our group, we rented two resort houses. The above is Baan Natavudh for the ladies. The house is new and comfortable. The environment is beautiful and quiet. There were beds, comforters and towels for everyone, with TV, hot showers, refrigerators, breakfast, etc. Narisa Place should be very famous in the future.

Vegetable farms are quite common in Wang Nam Khieo.

On the way back home, we stopped at Jim Thompson Farm, 50 kilometres from Wang Nam Khieo. The Farm is opened for the public during the New Year Season. However, since it was very crowded, we just walked around and took some pictures.

The next Bond movie to be released soon.

Num Heang, Kabinburi

On the way to Wang Nam Kheo, Dear and I had lunch at Num Heang Restaurant at Kabinburi. In the picture, Dear is very pleased with the grilled river prawn, which is the signature dish there.

Our Wang Nam Kheo Land

White cowboy fences are being built to mark the territory of our land.

The bridge across the creek has been repaired.

It was the first time that Dear was here. He seemed to like his piece of land and the beautiful creek adjacent to the land. The creek has recently been expanded wider, causing more flowing water, so much that we could hear the sound of the water there. Another thing he liked was the good phone reception at the land.

We happened to meet Luk Pla, Boo, and their son at the land.

Two big ponds have been dug on Luk Pla's and Khun Paweena's land, which enhances the beauty of their properties.

Dear tried to take photos of the beautiful wildflowers..

2nd Housewarming Party

Since my condo can accommodate a maximum of ten people at a time, it is necessary to separate friends into groups and invite them one after another. In the second Housewarming Party, guests included Khun Sivaporn and P' Rochana, Khun Pichai and Busaba, Khun Sathit and P' Rachada, Suthas, Thanom (second choice), Nong and Aor. I would like to thank all of them to have attended the party despite terrible traffic jams due to heavy afternoon rain and flood all over Bangkok. Khun Sathit, for example, was so thoroughly wet that he asked for Dear's shirt. Khun Pichai and Suthas had to walk 1.5 kilometres from Rama 4 Road, down Soi Kluey Nam Thai and through Soi 61 to the condo. And P' Rochana had to eat a couple of cherries she bought for me while she spent two hours going to my condo. Thanks everyone!

Aor and Nong helped me prepare Creme Brulee for dessert.

A gracious private Italian dinner was organised on the Sabai Cruise boat to celebrate birthdays for Dr. Sumet and Khun Bundit. The boat departed from Supakarn Condominium and sailed along the Chao Phraya River. The food was prepared by Mr Oreste of La Buca restaurant.

Wat Arun of the Temple of Dawn was very beautiful at night.

The SOCCEF members offered a birthday present to Dr. Sumet.
