Shompoo's Birthday Lunch

We celebrate Shompoo's Birthday in advance at Biscotti, her favourite.

Tha Phra Chan

Having lunch with Nong Ou, Poom and Noon at Louise-Tha Phra Chan, near Thammasat University.

After lunch, I spent time shopping for some snacks at Tha Phra Chan Civic Plaza.

Shompoo is 6 months and 3 weeks pregnant now. The ultrasound indicates she's going to have a baby girl.

Laem Charoen Seafood

After lunch at Laem Charoen Seafood, Mengjai Intersection, the rain pours so hard that Mother has to wear a raincoat.

Singapore

Dear and I went to Singapore during August 16-18. We stayed at the Swissotel at Raffles City. The purpose of this visit was sightseeing and to see what's going on there since our last visit about 16 years ago.

The Esplanade

We have buffet breakfast at the hotel's coffee shop, which is beautifully decorated.

The Thai milk tea at Thai Express tastes like dishwater.

Dear is ready for a luge ride at the Sentosa.

We watch "Captain Lucky" 4-D pictures at the Sentosa.

The Boat Quay is lively with a lot of western tourists eating and hanging around.

There were a few exhibitions at the Esplanade when we were there.

It's quite difficult to take pictures of the Esplanade due to strong sunlight.

P' Vor and Khun Sivaporn enjoys eating Pa-tong-go and durean at the Yaowarad office, although they have just finished fried mussels (Hoi Tod) lunch.

Khun Sivaporn likes Pa-tong-go at Yaowarad so much that he asks the vendor to prepare him the XXL.

Mother's 86th Birthday

Mother hosts her birthday lunch at Yim Yim Restaurant, Yaowarad.

Dear turns red after working outdoor in the sunlight at Satahip beach for 2 days.

After the merits making, we treat her to lunch at Leo Liang Seng near Montien Hotel.

Mother will be 86 years old on August 13. Today she makes merits by paying respect and offering the food to the monks at Vachirayan Building, Chulalongkorn Hospital.

After watching the movie "United 93", Dear and I have lunch at Greyhound Cafe at the Emporium. We love the Apple Crumble there.

Biscotti

Dear and Khun Yai enjoy eating pizza at Biscotti, Four Seasons Hotel.

The flower at the hotel lobby is very beautiful.

Khun Sathit's 60th Birthday

Khun Sathit hosts his 60th Birthday Dinner at Xinn Tien Di Chinese Restaurant at Gaysorn Plaza.

Dear and I visit Khun Sivaporn at the Yaowarad Place office. We enjoy coffee and Pa Tong Go on the airline passenger seats, which are very comfortable.

The Texas beef meatball noodles are really good!

Sonie's

The first is "Before and After" of spaghetti with bacon, mushroom and seaweed and the second is Tiramisu.

We have lunch at Sonie's Playground!. This is what we have before and after. The first row is Salmon Salad and the second row is Dragon Eye.
