Honfleur

Honfleur is a lovely city in Calvados in Normandy region. 

The Vieux-Bassin (Old Harbour) is very beautiful.

Bruges

The ship arrived at Zeebrugge, a small village on the coast of Belgium, from which we took a train to Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in Belgium.

The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

We had mussels lunch (again) at Poules et Moules.

Before leaving Amsterdam in the afternoon., we went to the Jordaan area for sightseeing.

Embarkation

We embarked Crystal Serenity and had lunch at Waterside, which is the main dining room on Deck 5.

Avenue Saloon, on deck 6, was our favourite place. We came here almost every night to have some cocktails before dinner and some wines with great music after dinner.

Dear chose Duvel Beer on his first day on the ship.

On the second day at Amsterdam we went to Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum, and Stedelijk Museum and took a walk doing window shopping in the city.

Amsterdam

We flew from Bangkok to Amsterdam via KLM Flight which  took us 11.35 hours. After arriving at Amsterdam at around 7 p.m. and checked in at Kimpton DeWitt Hotel, we had dinner at a nice restaurant near the hotel. Although the food was nice, we were rather tired because it was actually two o'clock in the morning Thailand times!
